Our Delivery Information

Potters Party Balloons Exclusive Products

Potters Party Balloons offer exclusive products designed and created by ourselves, identified by Magical Mr Potter being displayed in the top left hand corner. These products are either pre-inflated, assembled on-site (at your required location) or come in DIY packages with instructions.

Assembly Required

Products requiring assembling on-site are clearly marked within the product description on our online shop. Where a product requires assembling on-site (at your required location), the delivery cost is calculated based upon the delivery address.

Local deliveries (postcodes WS11 and WS12) are free.

Extended local deliveries (postcodes WS6, WS7, WS8 and WS15) are charged an additional £5 to cover costs.

Regional deliveries (postcodes WS 1/2/3/4/5/9/10/13/14, WV 1/2/3/4/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14 and ST 16/17/18/19 are charged an additional £10 to cover costs.

In order to be able to offer these products within our online shop, we are unable to restrict customers outside these areas from ordering. Therefore, if you have a delivery address that is outside the area then a ridiculous shipping charge is added to the product. If you want to pay for us to have a holiday whilst delivering and assembling your balloons then please feel free to carry on and order!

Local Delivery or Local Pick-up Only

As per the products that require assembling, some products that we create here at Potters Party balloons are really only suitable for local delivery or pick-up. These are clearly marked within the product description on our online shop. They are too big or fragile for it to be worthwhile for us to instruct a courier etc.

These products are delivered personally by us at Potters Party Balloons or can be picked up from our premises. The delivery cost is calculated based upon the delivery address.

Local pick-ups (from our WS11 premises) are free.

Local deliveries (postcodes WS11 and WS12) are charged an additional £3 to cover costs.

Extended local deliveries (postcodes WS6, WS7, WS8 and WS15) are charged an additional £5 to cover costs.

Regional deliveries (postcodes WS 1/2/3/4/5/9/10/13/14, WV 1/2/3/4/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14 and ST 16/17/18/19 are charged an additional £10 to cover costs.

Courier

For those products that do not require assembly and are suitable to be delivered via mail, Potters Party Balloons always uses a courier, unless it is more cost effective for our customers to deliver them ourselves (local or regional deliveries only). In the majority of situations the courier used will be Hermes!

Whilst we will endeavour to give accurate delivery times, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of the courier. It’s important to remember that all delivery lead times are estimated, you will usually find that the estimated delivery lead times are correct and you will receive your items within the time frames mentioned below.

Depending upon the item ordered, we will usually dispatch your product as follows: –

Hermes Postal Package delivery – 3 to 5 days + 1 day processing time for Potters Party Balloons. Cost £2.75 Postage and Packaging. Typically used for our DIY flat packages.

Hermes Small Parcel delivery – 3 to 5 days + 1 day processing time for Potters Party Balloons. Cost £5.40 Postage and Packaging. Typically used for our single balloons in a box.

Hermes Parcel delivery – 3 to 5 days + 1 day processing time for Potters Party Balloons. Cost £7.40 Postage and Packaging. Typically used for our balloon bouquets in a box.

Hermes Large delivery – 3 to 5 days + 1 day processing time for Potters Party Balloons. Cost £11.90 Postage and Packaging. Typically used for our presented stuffing balloons in a box.

Please note, deliveries may take longer during busier times, such as Christmas or circumstances out of our control.

International Delivery

As Potters Party Balloons is only a small family business, we have not yet set-up a full service for all international delivery options. Therefore, our normal practice is to charge a standard price for all products delivered outside the UK.

The service we offer is usually dispatched as follows:-

Hermes Small Parcel delivery – 3 to 7 days + 1 day processing time for Potters Party Balloons. Cost £40

It should be noted that the International delivery is a tracked service but occasionally additional payments may be required to cover the cost of your delivery.

We recognise that this is not a perfect solution for some international customers, but rather than develop a full service for all international options at this time, we would rather customers contact us directly with your requirements and we will endeavor to offer the best service that we can.

DIY Packages

All of Potters Party Balloons DIY packages come with the required amount of balloons and accessories in order to be able to fully construct the product described. Some spare balloons and accessories are also included to allow for mistakes etc.

All of Potters Party Balloons DIY packages come with an instruction sheet or booklet written by ourselves. We are also here to assist you with any questions via email, messenger, social media or even telephone.

It’s important to remember that whilst these packages are designed for beginners, some degree of patience and understanding in the techniques required will need to be learned. We suggest you leave plenty of time in order to be able to fully construct the product. We cannot be held responsible for your lack of understanding of the instructions or failure to follow the instructions.

Personalised Products

Any personalised product supplied by Potters Party Balloons may require additional processing time before dispatch. We suggest you allow for an extra day to the time mentioned above.

DropShipped Products

Some products offered on our online shop are not supplied directly by Potters Party Balloons. We use dropship suppliers. Whilst we will not list products from suppliers that we do not recommend, we cannot be held responsible for the delivery service in relation to these products.

In these such circumstances, you will be advised of the delivery information in the product description. If you have any issues with delivery then Potters Party Balloons will act as an intermediary between you and the actual supplier and attempt to resolve the issue.

Affiliate Products

Some products offered on our online shop are not supplied or sourced directly by Potters Party Balloons. We are merely affiliates of the supplier. Whilst we will not list products that we do not recommend, we cannot be held responsible for the product or the delivery service in relation to this product.

In these such circumstances, you will be directed to the website of the supplier we are affiliated with, where you may order the product. All orders are subject to the suppliers terms and conditions and Potters Party balloons accepts no responsibility for any part of the order.

Returns

We understand that sometimes you might not be completely happy with your order. If this is the case, you are able to return your order at your own cost. All orders should be returned in the same condition as you received them.

Upon receipt of your returned order, where applicable, we will issue a full refund for your items and shipping.

We cannot provide a refund or exchange for perishable goods, this includes helium balloons unless they are faulty or damaged. We may require you to send us an image of the item.

We cannot provide refunds or exchanges on personalised items unless they are faulty or damaged.

If you feel you have received a faulty item, please contact us directly with an image.
